Ministry, embassy and consulate legalization
Mali is not a party to the Hague Apostille Convention. A Malian document used abroad must therefore be legalized: the signature of the issuing authority is authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, then by the embassy or consulate of the destination country.

Can a Malian document be apostilled?
No. Since Mali has not joined the Apostille Convention, Malian documents go through legalization: Ministry of Foreign Affairs, then the embassy or consulate of the destination country.
Should I translate before or after legalization?
It depends on the destination country. Some embassies want the legalized translation together with the original, others only the original. We confirm the order before starting.
